If I had a zen garden, this would be it

The days standing between me and my wedding are quickly spinning away. This time on Friday morning, I'll be having my hair done. And there are still plenty of things to do between now and then, so I'm staying quite busy. But to stay sane, the pre-hubs (won't be able to call him that much longer!) and I stole away to Terrain, the funky garden shop owned by the folks who own Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, etc. It's a decent drive from our home in Philly proper, but the store itself is like a pause button for real life. You go in, wander around in amazement at the sheer beauty of the gardens, and feel recharged. That's what gardening is for me--a quiet escape from the madness.

I figured I'm not the only one who could use a little zen right now, so I snapped some photos to share. Hope you enjoy!

This is a little room set up in the center of the store, and it's designed like the most fabulous garden party you could ever invent. There are these vibrant glass jugs hanging from the ceiling providing light, and deep green fermenting jars on the table. The chairs are quirky, and the plants are lush and dreamy. I could spend all day right here.
A cute little vignette. I don't have space for anything like this in my own garden, but I sure wish I did...
Seed packets galore! I've always loved the art on the covers, but I've never thought to display mine.
These are strands of hanging jars. I'd love a window filled with these.
These are little jars filled with matches. I took this picture because this is actually the way I store my loose matches. I'll show you later how I repurposed jars I already owned.
